TsunagiNow operates a mobile marketplace that connects customers with service providers offering last-minute bookings at a discount. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By creating an account or using the TsunagiNow app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
Data Collection
Information we collect
Account information. When you register, we collect your name and either your phone number or email address depending on the sign-up method you choose.
Profile information. You may optionally provide a profile photo, social media handles, a business address, and a website URL.
Location information. With your permission, we collect your device location to show you nearby listings. You can disable this in your device settings at any time.
Photos and media. If you upload photos for your profile or listings, we store those images on our servers.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles all payment data directly.
Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with the app to improve the service.

Third Parties
Who we share information with
Other users. Provider profiles and listings are visible to customers. Your name appears on bookings visible to the relevant provider.
Supabase. We use Supabase for database storage and authentication. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
Twilio. We use Twilio to send SMS verification codes and notifications. See Twilio's Privacy Policy.
Stripe. We use Stripe to process payments. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
SMS Messaging
Text message communications
You opt in to receive SMS messages by entering your phone number during registration. By completing account creation, you consent to receive authentication messages and, where applicable, promotional notifications.
Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. To opt out of promotional messages, reply STOP to any message or contact us at support@tsunaginow.com.
Data Retention
How long we keep your data
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Booking records may be retained for up to 7 years for financial and tax compliance purposes.
Your Rights
Access, correction, and deletion
You can update your profile details at any time within the app. To request account deletion, contact us at support@tsunaginow.com.
California residents and users in other jurisdictions with applicable privacy laws may have additional rights. Contact us to exercise them.
Children
Age requirements
TsunagiNow is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have done so, we will delete that information promptly.
Changes
Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by notification. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
