Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the TsunagiNow mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

TsunagiNow reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

TsunagiNow is a two-sided marketplace connecting service providers with customers seeking last-minute bookings at discounted rates. We provide the platform and technology; we are not a party to service transactions between providers and customers, and we do not employ or endorse any provider listed on the platform.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have legal authority to agree to these Terms.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. One person may hold both customer and provider roles within a single account. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions.

As a provider, you agree to:

• Provide accurate descriptions of your services, availability, pricing, and location
• Honor all bookings confirmed through the platform
• Hold any licenses, certifications, or permits required to perform your services
• Maintain appropriate insurance for your services
• Treat customers professionally and respectfully
• Not list services that are illegal, harmful, or prohibited under these Terms

Providers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of TsunagiNow. You are solely responsible for your taxes, insurance, and compliance with applicable laws.

As a customer, you agree to:

• Honor confirmed bookings or cancel with reasonable notice
• Treat providers professionally and respectfully
• Pay for booked services in full through the platform
• Not circumvent the platform to pay providers directly and avoid fees

All payments are processed through Stripe. By making or receiving payments on TsunagiNow, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

TsunagiNow charges a platform fee on each transaction, displayed at the time of booking. Providers receive the remaining amount after platform fees are deducted.

Refunds. Refund eligibility is determined by the provider's cancellation policy. TsunagiNow may facilitate refunds at its discretion in cases of provider no-shows or significant service failures.

You may not use TsunagiNow to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform
• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Solicit payment outside the platform to avoid fees

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

You retain ownership of photos, descriptions, and other content you post. By posting content, you grant TsunagiNow a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use that content within the platform.

Do not post content that is illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, or violates the rights of others.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TsunagiNow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or any services booked through it.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to TsunagiNow in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or behavior that harms other users or the platform.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@tsunaginow.com. Outstanding payment obligations survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property or other urgent matters.
